Italian Industrial designer Vico Magistretti began his career initially in urban design in Milan, focussing on the reconstruction of post-war Italy. In the 1950s, Magistretti began work on mass-produced furniture and lamps, some of which became museum pieces. Permanently featured in MoMa, Magistretti’s designs remain iconic examples of modernist design, and look just as fitting in a museum as they do in the home.
