Verner Panton

Inspired to create designs in unconventional ways from unique combinations of materials, Denmark designer Vernon Panton was an innovator. He was the first architect to work with plastic as his main designing material. Intent on using revolutionary techniques to create his masterpieces, Panton produced the world’s first single-form, injection-moulded chair, which he appropriately named the Panton.
