Eames LCW Pony Chair (Replica)
£189.00 r.r.p. £379.00
Designed by Charles Eames in 1946, the LCW (which stands for Lounge Chair Wood) was a real breakthrough in new furniture design. The LCW was a result of Eames’ love of pushing the boundaries of working with wood – particularly moulding plywood into new shapes. The chair has a fantastically organic and inviting shape and although simple, it really does represent the best in modern furniture design. It is said that these modest moulded wood designs were the legacy that Charles Eames was most proud of. This modern take on the original LCW with the real Italian cow-hide (always referred to as pony) covered seat gives it a really contemporary twist, when coupled with the original's classic lines. Dimension: H: 70cm x D: 58cm x W: 55cm Shipping - £30.00 within UK. Out of stock until April. Email for international quote.
